How funny. I did my first ride at the event on Oct 1 with Deepak Ahuja. He was in the back left seat. Seemed kinda funny he was riding with us riff raff. I guess it was because he just started. My son and I had bee-lined for the rides when we got into the Signature pre event, and we went on the second ride of the day.

I did a video of that ride. It didn't come out well because the drive took the cones so aggressively my son and I basically fell over on Deepak's lap!

It's Deepak's voice saying "Don't worry about it" at the end. He's talking to my 8 year old son who still couldn't get his seat belt latched.

Brief chat with Tesla Motors' CFO, Deepak Ahuja, shot during the Model S Beta event:

He talks a bit about upcoming cars based on the Model S skateboard chassis, plus the target price of Gen 3 and production capabilities of the factory.

He talks a bit about upcoming cars based on the Model S skateboard chassis. . . .

According to the Investor presentation the other two models are a convertible and a van. Not sure why they would need a van if they've already got the Model X?

Report: Tesla Model X Electric SUV Coming In 2014

Note that in their latest investor presentation they omit the convertible and van and just say "Future Product" so maybe they are re-thinking things.

Talking to Franz I think the SUV and Minivan are the same vehicle, the Model X. He was not able to call it one or the other.

I hope the other car is just a convertible (easy, right? ) I want the third gen sooner than later.
