I’m still a bit confused and have a lot of questions. The way I found out was by looking at my Final Purchase agreement, which had the new delivery center on it. I then called Tesla Support and they found the car at the new delivery center (via GPS). However, I was never notified of this and am kind of confused still. My Delivery Specialist is AWOL ever since he confirmed the old location via email. My online Tesla account still shows the old location. My owner advisor is trying to help but this is apparently news to him as well.

Have any of you ever been in such a situation?

Sorry to hear that, but if the delivery center is too far from your place then they should be able to get it back to your preferred location. My DS is also AWOL and some others on this forum have also had similar experiences with DS, probably over-worked due to the M3s flooding into the market!

My brother picked up his model 3 in Atlanta last week and also had confusing info about the location. He was told the new location opened the day of his pick up last week, so he definitely found out at the last second. He just went to the new location and picked up his car. Other than that minor hiccup (his words), he was ecstatic about the process and the fit and finish of his new Model 3.

Here in Portland, the Tesla location happens to be located near the ICE Federal building. So they have to deal with the daily issue of whether they can run their business based on the number of protesters surrounding their building. I wonder if pick up location changes based on the protester situation, since the sales people have been moving to another office 20 miles away when the protesters prevent Tesla from operating (egad). Tesla is growing, figuring out all of life's growing pains. I wish them best of luck, and am willing to cut them some slack as they get the millions of details ironed out.
