Tesla co-founder Martin Eberhard is back with another electric vehicle startup. According to his LinkedIn profile, he’s now chairman and chief technology officer of a company called InEVit Inc.
According to a trademark application from InEVit, the company aims to commercialize energy storage and management components and work on electric vehicle drivetrain components and subsystems. Additionally, the company plans to engineer and design energy storage services.
Eberhard founded Tesla in 2003 with Marc Tarpenning. Musk, Tesla Chief Technology Officer JB Straubel and former executive Ian Wright were made co-founders in a legal ruling after Eberhard was ousted from Tesla.
