I don't get all the complaining. If you think it is too expensive, buy it privately or buy a new one. It's none of your business if Tesla choose to keep them and use them as loaner or led weight. If you don't think you get enough in trade in, sell it privately and see what happens.
And become a slimy used-car salesman? I don't think so.
You'll do a better job than what Tesla is doing now
At least I am sure you will list your inventory of cars available and you won't sell them for about what a new car costs

Here's a not so extreme example, but here's an S60 that was for sale for $57k, but they just raised the price to $60,600. And it's got pretty high mileage. And it's really bare-bones except for AP1 and SAS.

Thanks but that price is too low. For me to consider buying it, that car needs to be priced much higher

There is a P85D I've been drooling over that they drop the price $800 a day for the last 20 days, the only thing I've got to put in a pool more than than update my new to me CPO car..

yeah that price hike has me baffled. how do i explain to my acct that the car should start depreciating from $60K even though I paid significantly less than that.CPO cars now come standard with Ludicrous PRICE

What would be a reasonable CPO price on a 70D if you don’t care about options and just want the warranty? At what price should I jump in?

If you're asking me, I don't follow 70D that much. Perhaps someone else can supply a better answer.
You can buy a new/inventory 75D for $73K so if you are looking for a couple of years old CPO 70D, I would aim for a price around $50K. Lower the better obviously, but I would not pay more than the low 50s.
