Perhaps we should consider this a feeler from Tesla. The company needs to gauge Cybertruck interest across the globe. Now that Tesla has a factory in China that’s cranking out cars, as well as continuing to undergo massive expansion, it needs to figure out future plans for the country. Where would they put it? Can’t park it at home, can’t park it on the streets. Unless you’re in rural China they simply don’t have the infrastructure to accommodate it.

And if you’re in rural China, the likelihood of being able to afford one is very, very, very low.
