the location is right next to a porsche dealer and there is lots of other import car dealership.. I wonder if they are finally moving from Eden Prairie and make EP a service center. seems odd to put a service center in that much space but who knows They might just have 2 stores in Twin Cities. We could use it.

Investigated the address today that was listed above: 2590 Maplewood Dr N, Maplewood, MN and I discovered a building permit posted on in the inside of the Walser used car building at that location, which reads in part: TESLA PHASE I. So at some point, hopefully within a year, Tesla will have a brand new, large scale Service Center/Delivery Center & Gallery for the East Metro. Finally.

I was in that area last week and it looks like much of the exterior is done but its just shelled on the inside. I guess Tesla is not making the build out of this location a priority right now.

Also: so this may just be a place-holder, but I saw that there's a Tesla logo on the way-finding pylons in the signage overview for the new Minnesota United stadium in St. Paul. Perhaps this will be a urban supercharger location?

Making slow progress in Maplewood. Exterior is set, new pavement and lines appear to have been done. Interior is still in rough shape.

Looks like it would be a one to two month project to complete. No jobs are posted now yet, but a Supercharger Installation Manager was just posted for Minnesota, so expansions are coming!

No room at EP. Plus the back lot behind the Service Center/Showroom Now has about 50 cars mostly Model 3's.

A mobile service tech told me the new service center on the East side is supposed to open late this year or early next. He also said the mobile service parts and equipment aren't even stored at the EP service center, they have it all in a storage container. And he said they would likely get a new location on the West side too because the existing place in EP is rented and too small. At that point mobile service could work out of the actual service centers.

Looks like the site is coming along. 6 Destination changer post are wired in. The Entryway has been painted Tesla red, parking lot is re-paved and partially re-painted. Interior floors are are partially done.

I doubt very much that this site will also have a supercharger because of the lack of 24 hour amenities nearby but who knows.
