Also in CO. Ordered Oct. 11, MX Performance, Black/Black, 5 seater. I got a hidden VIN in source last week, called and they said the VIN was in pre-production and to expect a mid-December delivery.
Ordered MX black/black, 7 passenger, 20” wheels, long range on 10/31 and today I was able to pick a delivery date of 12/10. I haven’t received a VIN yet although it has one.

Just got told my Model X is still in transit and may be here Friday or next week.
Where are you located? I ordered from CA over 2 weeks earlier, and no VIN is in the source code yet for me. Wondering if they're ordering deliveries by region. (Since I'm not far from the factory, guess they're saving close people for last?)
It should not be an issue for Tesla to inform their customers about delivery dates even if it is months away. Production batches must be based on some plan and sequence. It cant be random. Unfortunately we are just told to keep waiting and I am sure all of a sudden they would ask to take delivery. I ordered 10/21 and so far no updates. No hope to get it before 3rd Dec when CA rebates are going away 
Yeah, it's a bit crazy. Here in Washington you basically can't go on vacation when you put an order. What I've been told is you get SMS when car is in transit. 2 days to get in Seattle and then 3 days to pick up. If you don't pick it up in 3 days - they will reassign the car to someone else.
FWIW, today, when I searched the source code on my Surface laptop using Google a VIN did not show up but when I did it on my wife's desktop Mac using Chrome it did, so people may want to try that. No idea why. Ordered MX on 10/31. Now if there was only a way to tell how long it takes from VIN to delivery . . .

“Automated reminder from Tesla - because you have not completed all tasks in your Tesla account, you are at risk of delayed delivery for your Model X. Please log in to tesla.com/teslaaccount to complete Trade-in, Payment Method, and any other outstanding tasks in the next 72 hours.”
I finished everything I could back on 10/22. There is obviously something amiss with my order behind the scenes, but, both times I’ve had someone at Tesla review it, they saw nothing left to do.
I have called, emailed and texted everyone possible... not holding my breath though.

I had this same problem with the text, I reapplied my payment information and saw that they added my FCU to their system. Once done it allowed for final confirmation.
Thanks Kloh. I am in the exact same boat. In Los Angeles, ordered on 10/31 MX LR 5 Seater, solid black for me too. I haven’t heard much but my SA said I would definitely get it before the end of the year. Trying to remind myself that after I have had the car a few weeks I will have forgotten the current frustration.
