Tesla Electric Road Trip - Stonehaus Winery - Crossville TN - 8/19 - 4-6PM

We decided to make it a real road trip and come down from VA for the event. We're going to make it a multi-day trip and we'll be travelling with our 6 month old Newfoundland puppy (only in behavior because at 60 pounds even we've stopped referring to him as a puppy).

We're planning to do the Dragon's Tail in TN on the way to the event for fun.

Any recommendations for places to stay or things to do in Charlotte NC, Asheville NC, Knoxville TN, Chattanooga TN, Nashville TN, Bowling Green KY or Louisville KY, or on the road between those stops? We're starting to do our research - and keep in mind we'll have the dog - but wanted to solicit feedback from residents or from frequent visitors.

There is a Tesla destination charger at Deals Gap (free). From there stay on hwy 129 to Robbinsville N.C. Then to Cherohala Skyway a senic drive that ends in Tellico Plains Tn. It is a awesome drive not as tight as Dragon just nice sweepers with picnic tables and good views for pictures .

I'll also recommend the route by rfinn. When I lived in Chattanooga that was my Sunday ride on the motorcycle. Tellico Plains isn't too far from Chattanooga if you need a supercharger. Enjoy East TN!!!!
