To all the naysayers who think Tesla is not doing or expecting to do well in Europe this must be a ominous sign: Tesla is opening a second location in Tilburg, The Netherlands. This was announced by the major's office. The new 43,000 m2 (463,000 square feet) building is located on the same industrial park as the subassembly building. Tesla will start using it in Q1 2015. It is not yet known exactly what the activities in the building will be and how many people will work there. Current employment in Tilburg is 180 people. Being Dutch I'm very proud of this! It's just awesome that Tesla opens yet another big location in our tiny country I think it's all to get ready for Model X and the big Model III push in a few years. Exciting times!
