What are actually the working hours in the Tesla factory?
Do they work in shifts?

Has the factory closed over the Christmas holidays?
And if so, how long?

I think last year they completely closed for a week or two for the holidays. Dunno if they are doing the same this yr.

I was told I could not have a factory tour between 12/20 - 01/06. May be completely unrelated.

The poor car so alone in the Tesla Factory.

Probably doesnt hurt them all that much to stop production. If battery cells are indeed the bottle neck, then shutting down just stocks that supply and allows them to turn out more cars in Q1.

The factory production line was active when I was there last Saturday at noon on a tour.
