May have been a fluff piece for us, but for the average person...it piqued interest. I've owned the car for 1.5 months and my dad found this more informative than talking to me.

Agreed, definitely a fluff piece for many of us on this forum. Two positives with the piece, 1) free advertising and 2) any publicity is good publicity. The only negative aspect I could see is the average person saying the car is overrated.

Though, I would tell the average person to take the [poor] reporting with a grain of salt. They failed to mention the part about the Model S scoring the highest in every category.

Fortunately, I think the Good Morning America fluff piece was just an edited sampling of Betty Liu's interview with Elon just aired on Nightline.

As you may well have seen,m Betty has interviewed Elon many times. Bloomberg had some interesting items (Elon talking about setting up factories in Asia and Europe) in a piece they posted yesterday based on a Liu interview... very likely the nightline interview.

fwiw, the video Doug posted the link to is a longer piece, about 7 minutes. Not particularly probing or revealing, but more to it, including some interviewing of Elon, than the Good Morning America piece at the top of the thread.
