Tesla forced me on to V10 2019.32.12.1 last night, from V8. I am REALLY PISSED OFF. So much for unplugging the seat Sorka. 2016 S 60 W/75 battery that I did not unlock. Did I mention I am REALLY PISSED OFF?

Not really new.... just all stuff going around on here. eg: Model 3 paint claims - no paint / rust being explained by Tesla as exposure to air and therefore normal wear and tear. If 'exposure to air / gas' is a warranty exclusion, then no need for any more exclusions.

You might as well do it. I haven't read anything about V10 being any worse than V9.
I've just gotten into the habit with software updatable devices (cars, phones, TVs, servers, laptops, cameras, watches, etc) to wait for a few dot releases after a major upgrade. I'm never in any rush to get new features (life goes on just fine) and it's worth the wait to avoid and x.0.0 release bugs or pitfalls. Like that one time Apple released an iPhone upgrade that was bricking phones.

I got my forced update (from V8 ver. 2018.34.1 to 2019.32.12.1) yesterday morning. Then 12 hours later I got another update notice for 2019.32.12.2 (which, as many have reported, fired off the car alarm when the update was 80% installed!)
Resigned myself to the clunkier V9/V10 UI, but at least I can keep the rear cam on screen (which was the deal killer back when V9 first appeared, but later "Mostly" fixed). My 90D lease is ending, so I need to bite the bullet anyway when I get a new Raven.

If you just got the update Sunday (10/13) then you might not have had a chance to charge your car yet. Do you notice a significantly lower range (number of miles) at 90% or 100% charge?

Not planning to keep a definitive list of owners who have had updates forced on them, but since two more showed up today, I'm posting this summary as a reminder. The recent activity suggests that Tesla may eventually be intending to force all owners to update, perhaps so they can wind down legacy support systems. Unfortunately, that also means forcing Model S/X owners to accept usability and performance regressions introduced by the v9 redesign and newly-imposed battery/range limits, without prior information or consent.

Actually I've see several other threads about V9 to V10 upgrade issues:
- browser takes up almost the entire screen
- browser fails to work AT ALL after a couple of uses
- browser breaks Tesla Waze completely
- passive unlocking / locking stops working
- TPMS button reset missing (important when you have 2+ sets of wheels / tires)
- alarm going off during upgrade... and leaving vehicle unlocked after upgrade
I'm waiting for these some or all of issues to be resolved before upgrading to V10, but I do appreciate all the V10 converts "best testing" V10 for me.
I assume that button was replaced with the wheel selection option. (Of course if your two sets of wheels are the same, that makes it kind fo weird that you have to pick a different wheel, let it reboot, and then pick your wheels again.)

Since I see you are collecting this for whatever it is worth the version that I got force updated to was 32.12.1
I spoke with my local ranger about this and he is hearing about this happening now as well and suspects it was forced due to the China battery fire while charging. He also pushed out 32.12.2 to my car since it was already the crap V10 that update I no longer cared about. Very pissed to have been robbed of features and capabilities I used with the car all the time.

I'm sure I posted it before, but I think it deserves a revisit -
IMO the V9 V10 interface is less safe to drive with because it takes more "clicks" to accomplish everything I do with one click on V8 (except call up the media app) and most (if not all) targets are smaller.
I know because I drove a loaner for 2 weeks with it and I drove poorly because of it.

Besides the more clicks, it's just more distracting in general. The old split screen made so much more sense. I'm sure I'll get use to it, but the new changes made to V9 /V10 are ridiculous.

Add me to the list. Woke up Sunday to V9 2019.32.2.2 from the last version of 8. Biggest reason I was against v9/10 is no more split screen I use the browser on top alot. But I didn't know what's even worse is the SLOW map redraw and WEAK A** Regen! Hoping when I get V10 the Regen gets better...

My car is in service, and the service advisor notified me that they will have to do the update.
This is for contactor replacement (or so they have told me), which I didn't think required any firmware update, and the service advisor didn't think so, either, at the time of check in. This probably shouldn't count for the list, as it's service applying the update, which is common, not a forced OTA update.
BTW, I've had a 70D loaner with V10 for almost a week now, and I still hate the new UI.
