Tesla FSD Beta Release 10.5 2021.36.8.8 - 10.5.1?

Looks like the Tesla bug-testing employee group found a problem with 10.5 which explains the lack of release to existing beta-testers today/Sunday/Weekend.

How long did it take for Tesla to push out a dot update for 10.3 when they pulled the release because of the insane phantom braking? That will probably give us a sense of when we'll get 10.5.1/10.5 2021.36.8.8.

Now I just have to wait longer as a user who just achieved 99 on Friday 3 days ago....

The 10.3 to 10.3.1 push was done with 7x24 effort by Tesla since it involved a safety issue for customer cars that had already received the update. The 10.5 update was, as far as we know, limited to internal only QA, so the release timeline would not necessarily be as urgent.

With luck then (as someone who just got 99 3 days ago) I'll receive an 10.4 FSD Beta invite in the meantime... Although it looks like there are plenty of active testers who would disagree that receiving 10.4 is lucky!

I’m in the same boat as you but according to TeslaFi/Scope it doesn’t look like they’re adding anyone new to 10.4.

TeslaFi notified me I have an update downloading. When I checked the app a minute or two later it was ~60% downloaded. Installed but haven't driven yet (not expecting anything mindblowing). TeslaFi shows 128 installed and 222 pending as of right now.

Same here. Got 99 3 days ago (friday). Tesla is rocketing away this release, looks like several thousand per hour. Hopefully newly minted 99s/100s come first.

I got to 99 last week, and sat there until Aa long road trip on Sunday. After the first leg I hit 100, after the second leg I stupidly forgot to reset and I’m now at 98 again I really hope I make it in this round, this is super frustrating.

I have received the 2021.36.8.8 update and I can confirm a 13% improvement in static world prediction. Could be the martini. But fairly confident. Wayyyyy more than 12%
