1st generation charger (40Amps), should charge faster then the current UMC version.

Should work great as an extra charger for Model 3. Includes 14-50 and 5-15 adapters and tow hook. Maybe used once or twice--has been sitting in the trunk for the whole time.

Do you know why Tesla went to 32A on the new connectors?

Not exactly sure.

But I do know that if you use this to charge with a M3, you'll get 37 miles charged per hour vs the 30 miles charged via Gen 2 charger.

Absolutely...this came from a model X. Will absolutely work with a Model S (actually better for the Model S/X given their bigger battery sizes). Pm me if you are interested.
