I know that song--it's my ring tone for Tesla, not that they ever call me. ;-) I think I also used it for someone from TMC.

Ha, I just heard this recently as well and snapped a picture and texted it to a TMC pal.
(Station was "Tenderness" by General Public).
They recently toured the USA! (I passed, I saw them in 1981)
Their first 3 albums are essential! Their first single is called "Electricity" as well.

I know the OMD song.. but not sure I'd ever met someone who would start a slacker station with 'johnny hates jazz'. At least in the US, they were a one almost-hit wonder.

Same here, but I was trying to think of genres to try, and recalled that I liked their sound back in the day and wondered what kind of a station Slacker would create from it.
