Tesla glass roof sunshades

I bought the ones from a company called TopLight (about half the cost of Tesla brand). I've had mine on all summer and no damage to any glass. They do help but if parked in the sun your cabin overheat protection is still going to run. To cut way down on that I would also install windshield and side window protection as well.

I bought the one from Tesla ($75 back in July 2018). Installed from when I got it and never have removed it; so roughly two years running now. No apparent damage to glass that I can tell. It also does seem to cut down on the radiant heat slightly. I did not get the one for the back window as the reviews I read at the time said it tends to hang down from the glass. If I were to do anything else to reduce the heat inside the cabin I'd install tint all the way around. Something for UV and IR, not necessarily one for reducing visibility.
