Big difference with the NCAP test is that car companies know exactly how the test is going to be conducted. It's much easier to pass a test when you know the exact questions ahead of time.

I think there should be a test to detect electric bicycles or electric scooters,
especially when you are making a left turn and you notice them at the last moment when they zip just in front of your hood.

Those electric bicycles or electric scooters are going so fast now and are barely noticeable.

At least, motorcycle turn their front high beam and they can been seen more distinctly.

It didn't just fail the AAA test it also failed to get the highest score in the IIHS test.

Everyone failed the AAA test though so I can give Tesla a "okay, but this really needs to be fixed" kind of grade.

But, the fact that Tesla didn't ace the IIHS test

OUCH.

Yeah because a smaller kid is easier to see right?
Real question is will it hit a glass of koolaid left in the middle of the road?

Or maybe the kid was carrying koolaid and that is what the car saw?

Passing a test once isn't passing it most of the time or in the real world.
