They appear to be continuing to hire more contract "Production Associates" as they ramp up production of our Model X's. Another possible read on this is they are hiring contractors to do some production activities manually that will be automated in the future. Therefore, they don't want to hire them as permanent Tesla employees? Perhaps the ramp is going slower than they hoped/planned? Pure speculation on my part and of course I hope it's incorrect because I really can't wait to get my X!

Last night, I checked out this Mountain Collective pass. It covers several ski resorts I've always wanted to visit, including: Aspen Snowmass, Mammoth, Jackson Hole, SunValley, and Taos; plus return visits to Alta Snowbird and Squaw Valley. I plotted a Model X route from Fremont that would visit them all:

It's 3,461 miles of mostly AutoPilot through 8 states, and there appears to be SuperCharger coverage all along this route. I'd head to Mammoth, first, then past Las Vegas and Arizona because Service Centers are closer just in case I need them. I just don't know at this point whether or not I'll receive my X in time for this road trip before my son's winter break is over...
