Volvo's Tesla rival due in 2019

At least Volvo identify that charging infrastructure is key, though their solution appears to be put training wheels (hybrid) on the car rather than deal with the problem....

Thanks TesAus. In the article, Heath says that the second Sydney showroom (Martin Place) will be open by the end of the year! That's quite soon. It would be a great place to do some Christmas shopping.

This all seemed to go very quiet - Anyone seen any sign of a new Martin Place store? I hope it wasn't going to be in one of the buildings being acquired for the Sydney Metro?

So did a bit of searching and this article suggests that Tesla has indeed secured space in Martin Place for a store:
Golden age for revamped 20 Martin Place | afr.com

There is a DA currently in with City of Sydney (DA/2015/1248) which was exhibited in September last year. Current status is "under assessment" with further documents requested.

Application is described as change of use for "Tenancy 1" for use for vehicle sales for Tesla. They are seeking to trade 7 days a week.

Unfortunately there are not any plans or similar to download.

A question on Australian ordering and our taxes, and apologies if this has been brought up elsewhere.
When selecting Autopilot ($3,800) it actually adds over 5k to the total cost as stamp duty and luxury tax go up. So if that's the case is it actually cheaper to enable after delivery for $4500, as it's just a purchase going straight to Tesla without additional charges?
