Certainly Tesla will look at vehicle telemetry data at our 6 month renewal and re-price the renewal accordingly. My concern is that on California freeways we have a differential speed limit. 65 for autos and 55 for 3-axle trucks or any vehicle with a trailer.
Very often the speed limit shown on the screen while on the freeway is 55, and it's pretty clear the car is reading the signs reminding drivers of the limited speed while towing. As a result, a good percentage of the time on the freeway here our car is logging that we're at least 10 mph over the speed limit.
Has anyone in California renewed their policy to find higher premiums without an explanation?
