Not sure if this is a Tesla app issue or an Apple issue but thought I'd try here to see if anyone has experienced this or has a suggestion:
All was great until I got a new phone last week. Installed the Tesla app (iCloud backup actually), and the app is fine except my notifications disappeared.
(1) I confirmed:
Notifications turned ON in the App.
Notifications ON in the Notification Centre in iOS.
Background app refresh ON
(2) Rebooted the phone. No change.
(3) Deleted the app, re-installed.
Notifications still do not appear (other functions fine). But now, the Tesla app doesn't even appear in the notification center on my phone. In the Tesla app under notifications it simply says "OFF: to turn on notifications go to Settings > Notifications > Tesla" but obviously, I can't do that when the app doesn't appear there.
Tried rebooting the phone and reinstalling the app again. Same.
Any ideas or suggestions?
