Tesla iOS App No Longer Connecting to Car

Started late yesterday morning. M3 LR AWD on 28.3.1. My Tesla app just hangs and doesn't ever connect to the car. Have rebooted the app and the car. Still no luck. Weirdly, Stats app is still connecting no problem. Also, the phone will still unlock the car. Anyone else having this issue recently?

Yes, Tesla servers were up and down yesterday. Tesla apps on my iPhone and iPad were not connecting. Today the iPhone app connects, but the iPad will not. On .32.

Afraid to. My phone works as my car key and it's still working. Don't want to have to set it up again.

Well, to no one's surprise, deleting the app and re-installing it seems to have fixed the problem. Sorry for the bother.

Mine was having problems today. I just logged out and logged back in again, and that fixed it.

Tesla apps seem to have this problem. Powerwalls disconnect if the wifi dies. Need to set it up all over again. Not very robust networking on any of the hardware.

That's not always the case. Mine hasn't connected since August 5th. Affects both IOS and Android so reinstalling is non-issue. Plus it connects to one car but not the other. According to the mobile tech that came by, he says it has to do with the VPN connection and certificates possibly.

Faced the hanging issue. It was fixed uninstalling and installing again the app on the iPhone. Thanks.

Sign out and then sign back in on the app. worked for me
