Can you please elaborate? Is it just me or is it connecting much faster now?
I have my car getting detailed in valet mode, and he needed the frunk open so I did it from the app and he said it worked. You sure it doesn’t work while in valet mode?
Yep. Tried it last night. Got the "Are you sure" pop-up, tapped OK, and the car image changed while the frunk was still closed.
My doors were locked at the time. Were yours when the detailer tried it? Shouldn't matter, given the nature of valet mode, but it would narrow down the case.
My doors were unlocked, it seems he’s keeping it unlocked since anytime I check on it, it shows it’s unlocked.
I thought the trunk could be opened from the outside of the car while the frunk can't? If so, this could be a way to compensate by making it easier to get to the frunk control in the app.Opening the frunk this way is a gimmick. The trunk could be helpful though
This is exactly why. You can always open the trunk from the release latch. But the only way to open the frunk (previously) was from the main screen or buried in the app controls.I thought the trunk could be opened from the outside of the car while the frunk can't? Under controls, upper right under "start"Where did the keyless driving icon go? I can’t seem to find this anywhere in the app anymore.
