Second row seat fold sensor is not working (reporting needs to be locked when fold down)

SC: Wear and tear, not covered by Extended warranty

Driver lumbar support not working (not moving at all)

SC: Wear and tear, not covered by Extended warranty

Squeak noise from control arm (at any suspension height)

SC: Wear and tear, not covered by Extended warranty

Acceleration shudder (at any suspension height, even very low)

SC: Wear and tear, not covered by Extended warranty

Static noise from front speaker

SC: It's normal (and we all know it's not)

So what's covered then? and there is no way i can get issue to be escalated or complain about it

Products are good except that they have bugs like all other cars out there. What really sucks is that tesla is no longer willing to fix them and is becoming overly arrogant and treat customers like trash. I want the 2018 tesla back..

Yep. Since 2018 service went to *sugar*. I'm thinking long and hard about my next car. Can you file with the attorney general?

Control arm on my '16 X was covered by them when I brought it in near end of my warranty period. I think I was at 48k miles or something like that. Tech went for a drive with me in the parking lot and confirmed squeaky noise, and replaced the part under warranty. Almost like he knew what's wrong, he didn't even look at the car, just drove and confirmed noise, then told rep to write it up as warranty part.

Tesla makes a great product, but almost all other aspects of the company are blah. The SC are so overrun and busy now.

Yup, in 10min I have already saw 3 brand new Model Y going into the service bay.
The initial low quality makes the SC so busy, not really SC's fault but I think SC just does not treat existing customers as good as new customers

Too bad, im in Canada, too costly to do it and too time consuming.

Hope to get some mainstream media to cover the story to get more public exposure to get problem fixed

I am 100km away from the end of my extended warranty, based on my conversation in 2018, control arm is part of the drivetrain & battery warranty, but somehow in 2020, it's not anymore, and just use wear & tear to cover it.

They fixed the squeaky door for me as well. When I told the service advisor of the issue, he just commented "Oh another one". A mechanic took a look to verify the issue and told me they will get it fixed.

All Model X’s have the issue with second row seat down. gives a nasty warning.

My shudder is completely gone with latest updates. Kind of shocked actually. I put suspension in auto. And height auto low. Not sure if that helps.

Knock on fake wood, it’s been doing fairly well.

I had mine replaced in Feb of this year. So not sure on the 2020 change. Unless it's later part of 2020.

Not sure if Tesla saw my message here on the forum,

They order a replacement driver seat for me!

2nd row fold seat turns out actually a calibration issue, so it should happen no more!

They are going to change the half shaft, clevis mount and control arm to fix shudder and squeak.

unfortunately, they could not fix the static noise issue, said they could not replicate it but I wanna show them personally when i pick up the car

For that folding seat message, you have to use the manual seat adjuster, not the electric seat adjuster. button on the top of the seat.

I was using the button at the top but they don’t fold properly if you do. Now I use the fold seat lever at the bottom and I get the message.

Looks like the thread title should be updated. ;)
