p.s. yes, I realize that "New CPO's" is an oxymoron... 
All the cars that they took in last month are for sale now. Guess that beginning if the quarter is the best time to shop CPO

Yup. It was 23 cars this morning -- and that was TOTAL MS/MX New and CPO/Used.
Hope to see a lot new inventory added next!

As I mentioned before, Tesla had a flood of three-year lease returns come back in December.
But as a buyer, I would caution you that these cars are likely pre-reconditioning, so might take some time to go through the regular Tesla CPO process.

They wanted to use the end of quarter delivery slots to deliver NEW cars. Now at early Q1, theyre focused on building cars for Europe and Asia which need more lead time for transport. While doing this, they're using delivery slots in USA for used cars. Simple logic.
I would use caution when buying CPOs. Some are priced too high. In many cases a brand new inventory model will be only 8-15k more when taxes, fees, and rebates are considered. However it will practically have no miles vs. thousands and thousands on CPO, couple yrs newer, 1st owner, and just a much more superior vehicle.
After searching CPOs I ended up with a new inventory model because it made much more financial sense. If anyone is interested in my findings feel free to PM me.

These lease return batches may have some hidden gems - AP1 RWD 85s. Unicorns in their own way.
Made from ~Oct 2014 - ~April 2015 at which point they began to share production with AWD models.
Not that I’m checking every day and then some or anything.

Based on what I am seeing, very few of this new upload of vehicles are being offered with the 4yr/ 50k mile warranty; But instead the 2yr/ 100k mile warranty, no matter how many miles the car currently has. I wonder why it's like that this time around..

I asked the tesla advisor I am working with, it also has the "Performance Plus" listed on the internal listing so I figure that is the one, is it not?

Under 50,000 miles gets the 4 year, 50. Over 50k gets the 2 year version.
