Tesla map questions

New owner with some difficulties understanding how to use/change map.
1. If I move the map manually, I can’t figure out how to center my car on map again and of course navigation doesn’t change from current view.
2. map is showing different colored pins over certain homes- not sure how they came on or how to get them off to ‘clean up’ map.
3. similarly if I ask for restaurants, after they appear I can’t clear map.
4. Also if I click on navigation, I have trouble getting back to plain screen.

not sure if these questions make complete sense, but thanks for any help!

There is a compass symbol in the top right corner of the map, touch it and it will re-center.

2. these are google maps, and have indicators for advertised locations just like on the google maps on your computer - you can't clear them, just ignore them.
