My advice is to call the Tesla support number on your main screen.
Then ask Tesla in the USA why there isn't a Tesla service centre in the 4th most populous capital city in Australia.
Might also want to ask them why there isn't a Supercharger in Perth yet.
Our local, one of, Tesla service tech has previously asked us to raise all concerns this way a) to use the "chain of command" and b) lighten his already high workload since he is an essentially a one-man-show.
C'mon Tesla, show Perth some of that good 'ol Tesla lovin'
For those West Aussies new to TMC and having just bought a Tesla or are close to doing so Perth has a small makeshift workshop to take care of vehicles, the Tesla tech is held in high regard over here even though he's often at the mercy of Tesla's sometimes poor communication channels.
WA also has an official owners club- Tesla Owners Club Western Australia, members are more than happy to help out newbies with info on servicing, insurance and charging.
Nice.....although is ok an acceptance of the request or an acknowledgement of the request?
Just wait, there'll be articles in TheDriven, CarAdvice, maybe Motoring.com.au and possibly some local Perth news outlets
Should have asked for more!Notice how jays200 asked for a store, supercharger, and service centre. Elon said OK.
A few days ago Elon said stores were bad and would be closing.
Interesting there were 51 new registrations but total only increased by 20. Either a lot of crashes or a lot of movements out of the state. I think the 2 numbers are normally closer. Even 51 is the lowest by far since the X was introduced so it seems a lot must be waiting for the 3.The Q1 2019 RMS stats are out for NSW...
Tesla's share of BEVs in NSW has dropped to 57.1% with only 20 Teslas registered in the first quarter compared to 94 non-Tesla BEVs. This is an incremental market share for the quarter of 17.5% which is the lowest ever by Tesla since the RMS stats started in 2014. Next quarter we might see the first Model 3s recorded which presumably will bring a market-share turn-around.
Number of FCEVs is unchanged at 63 for the 9th month in a row, emphasising that hydrogen fuel cells are the technology of the future and will continue to remain so.
Here's the updated chart.
