actually it is like 61k with taxes, minus 7500 federal, so around 53k after rebates and taxes.

What about retired millionaires, non-paid startup founders, independently wealthy brats? There are plenty of folks who can easily afford a model 3 without qualifying for the tax incentive

Well you need yonbroden your horizons then. I have a Model S and wouldn't qualify for the tax credits.
