Best be buying that plane ticket and perhaps a set of adaptors for charging points, etc.My Tesla account just changed to include "delivery appointment at Melbourne-Richmond Sept. 17, 2019 at 04:00 PM Melbourne-Richmond 650 Church Street, Cremorne, VIC 3121" Since I'm in Perth its a bit strange but something is happening

I'm thinking that whoever is handling Perth right now may not be 100% on the same page as other areas...Well spotted. Mine too.
Yes, existing S/X owners do jump the queue (so long as they placed a reservation at any time). As advised directly to me by TeslaNo Nuclear Fusion, S/X owner do not jump the reservation queue, but you were not listening.
As I was the first to line up - two days before registration began - Tesla personnel [and Elon] made it clear from the very beginning that priority would go to existing Tesla customers.
I guess Tesla said so right from the beginning to avoid any misunderstanding or disappointment.
Unfortunately, it now seems that many people simply were not listening and in addition, queuejumpingphobia seems to be a contagious disease around here.
Haha dedication! I love it!I know you're joking, but I'm in the same boat (based in Perth, delivery "set" for melbourne). I offered to fly to east coast if it was quicker and was told it wasn't possible due to licensing.
Ray, I have a 2015 tesla wall unit charging my model S at 40amp single phase, can i use it to charge the model 3 when it finally appears, do i need an adaptor or do i need to install its own wall unit. I did not want touch the wiring as AGL still doing the $1 a day chargeOne of the best charging summaries I've seen.
You could add that the version 1 Tesla UMC appears to be available from

for about AUD1000 which is a great deal cheaper than the Juice Booster.

That's what I've got - it should work although you may have to dial the current down.Ray, I have a 2015 tesla wall unit charging my model S at 40amp single phase, can i use it to charge the model 3 when it finally appears, do i need an adaptor or do i need to install its own wall unit. The charger will tell the car how much current that it can deliver, so you don't need to turn anything down. If the circuit is 40A then the wall connector is probably set for 32A and will deliver about 7kW or about 50km/h of charge. That's what I've got - it should work although you may have to dial the current down.
Ray, I am at not quite 4 years (sept 15) and it will go over the 100,000kms tomorrow, best car ever, we fight over it so had to get another. That's what I've got - it should work although you may have to dial the current down.
Or geographic state hahaI'm thinking that whoever is handling Perth right now may not be 100% on the same page as other areas...
