I missed a call from Tesla today. They emailed me saying it was to confirm details. I will be taking delivery from the Auckland Showroom. Getting PPF then driving it home...

I can confirm we have had one caller (reservation holder within a week of reservations opening) from about an hour north of Brisbane who was scheduled for 20th September pickup.
I am in the city centre of Brisbane and can literally walk to Tesla if I really had to although electric skateboard is so much faster, and yet I haven't had a phone call yet either. It did take a while for my screen to progress from 'We will contact you about the outcome of your finance' (when I was already approved anyway) to the the next steps, so I'm thinking I'm not as far up the food chain as I thought I was. An upsetting feeling lol.
Interesting, how did you notify them of the Auckland pickup, I called and they said the delivery advisor would sort that out. I am the same would prefer to pick up from Auckland and drive it home.

About two weeks ago, just after filling in delivery address as Christchurch, I phoned sales support.
I got the US sales support. They emailed my ‘delivery advisor’ David who then emailed me.
My ‘missed call’ was also from David.

I'm aware of three other Brisbane deliveries for the 16th and 19th and 23rd of September - all P+
As I can tell I should be close to the front of the queue when they get to Brisbane P- deliveries. *Really* hope it doesn't delay the driving holiday I'm planning to start on the 21st.

I'm looking at installing the Wall Connector in my garage. JET Charge (one of Tesla's recommended electricians) can do the installation in 2 visits; 1st visit to install RCD in switchboard and isolator and run the cables, and 2nd visit to connect the Wall Connector after I get my 3.
I was quoted $700-$800 ex-GST for a single-phase installation (installer will give proper quote on 1st visit).

I heard they’ve transferred you to the back of the world que for thinking you could work out when your car will arrive and how.
A bit of activity on the account which is positive and moving forward I guess. Noticed my wife's DOB was wrong and emailed today and that got fixed up straight away and is now reflecting in the registration tab. Also, posted custom plates to Tesla Melbourne and now the plates are showing up as well in the account so hoping delivery specialist call is not too far away. Don't want to get carried away but fingers crossed and toes curled for a call this week with a delivery update..
