If I collect my Model 3 on 27/09/2019, it will have been 1,277 days and 2 hrs of waiting since I arrived at the door of the St Leonards Showroom. To paraphrase Agent Jack Bauer: "This has been the longest 1,277 days and 2 hrs of my life..."

I look forward to passing on the title of "Longest wait for Model 3 delivery" to someone else some time on the 28th of September.

Just passed a Blue model 3 in Willoughby Sydney (I was in my white S)...first one I've seen on the road. Gave the special Tesla thumbs up...

Could well have been me. Picked it up on the 9th. Delivery specialist said it was the first blue in Sydney but there were lots of blue ones in the back of the delivery centre.

Actually the wait will still matter, because when someone asks about the customer service I've received obviously I'm not going to be raving about it. I do feel for the customer service people, but at the same token I have no sympathy for Tesla and their obvious failure to plan for this.

Yeah, they will have brought in bulk SR+ and only one choice of interior there. They are playing catch up but SR+ seems to be in plenty of supply and makes me think that at least for certain vehicles and certain state the current estimate of October isn't completely off the mark.
They should add a month for WA / Tasmania and another for LR AWD though.

No response from Tesla about receiving payment for my car. It always makes me nervous transferring 70+ thousand and not hearing anything. I did search the source code though and noticed they have said in there it's been received.

I did also notice that is says 'payment due on the day is 95$' delivery fee??? Anyone know what that is? (I'm picking the car up from the store in Melbourne)

I'm finding the lane change to be a little awkward, as it will not change lanes when you use the indicator, so you either turn the wheel to override, and it jerks a little, or you press up once to disengage autosteer, move, and then re-engage, all accompanied by beeps and binging, which alarms the passengers.

Indicating does nothing whilst on autosteer, as that feature called auto lane change, is reserved for FSD.

The sticker on the bottom right has the ship and vin. Did you get the ship info as well? And can you share vin range?
It helps back up the data analysis.

Jetcharge vs EVSE type 2 cable.

For a 7m 22kw 3 phase cable Jetcharge are $315, EVSE are $499. Can anyone comment on these cables? Any reason the more expensive is better? Also cable length, 7m seem right? Bit of extra over a 5m might come in handy if a spot is ICE’d maybe?
