Tesla Model 3 not powering up

For 2 days in a row I have unlocked the Tesla and found the 15" display dead and unresponsive. The remote refresh does not work either.
I have got round the problem by holding down the 2 scroll wheels for 10+ secs and then the system has rebooted and all seems fine.
Is there anything I should try or diagnose myself before I speak to a Tesla SC?
This is a new March 2021 MIC LR

Have you left it a few mins or is it like this for a long time?

Mine is like this on first wake-up after it's been sleeping. It does take a min or two to become responsive. You will hear the fans start and that's when it's woken up and screen then works.

Just an update on this.
Tesla are going to swap out the main CPU board in the car. They are picking my car up from my house (and leaving a spare) to take back to Edinburgh and I will then drive to SC to pick up when done.
So far a very good experience dealing with SC/Tesla over this.

Wow - This is not the update I thought you would be posting - I guess they did the remote diag as suggested by @kelvin 660!

The 1st line support guy asked me to check whether it would go into drive in the situation where it was dead. However in parellel this got referred to someone who specialised more in the area that was likely to be at fault, and they contacted me to say they looked at the symptoms (and logs?) and quickly came to the conclusion that this was only likely to be explained by a main board fault so not to bother further investigation on my part.
Time will tell.

Quite a severe issue there. Glad it's getting resolved quickly for you.

And yes - TeslaMate is pretty cool for spotting things like that. If the car wakes up spontaneously and you know Tesla are aware of a problem or you have an open service request then there's a good chance they've polled it for something.

I have this issue quite a bit, but it's always after a firmware update. I've not reported it to the SC as for me it always resolves itself after about 2 - 3 instances. Can't wake car, get into car with usual black screen, wait about 2 minutes, give up, hold reboot buttons and then it's fine. If I remember the fans do kick in, which is usually the sign the car has woken, but no controls do anything and nothing's on the screen.

If this is very uncommon amongst Tesla owners it would still suggest a fault which might be worth speaking to Tesla SC about. However I guess it is not too hard to live with either.

Good to hear you got a positive response from them.
I can't say I've encountered this, just the usual screen on but doesn't accept input for 10/15 seconds. If I'm in a rush I just fire up the app and it's wiped it's sleepy eyes by the time I arrive

Yeah get it looked at. Mine had something similar happen just once and they replaced the HV controller. I was going to put it down to a one off glitch but they insisted I came in to get this changed plus the water ingress re-work that affected earlier cars.

Well they changed the computer - from invoice:
"Correction: Car Computer (Remove & Replace)" (TLA,CAR.COMP,EU,HW3.0- PROVISIONED(1566786-S5-C).
Appears to be OK although it didn't go wrong very frequently anyway so only time will tell.
Generally a pretty good experience with the service centre both online and in person.
