Tesla Model 3 @ NYC with rant

Saw You You Xue's 3 at night want to see it again in day light. The headliner is nice quality but the miss match does bother me a little. And IMO the white look better than the midnight silver.
Now the rant. One of the guy inline who doesn't seem to know much about the 3 asked one of the employee (not 3 specialist) questions and that employee know nothing about the car. Saying the batteries are 75kWh and 100kWh, range are "around" 240mile SR and 300mile LR, everything on display are the base features (it is premium package with 19" and midnight silver, all are optional), etc. I am so surprise and upset about that, if you not sure don't make up stuffs, have the specialist come over! I gave that guy all the correct info once that employee walked away but he seem to believe that employee's info and I don't blame him, why believe a stranger than a Tesla employee?
Give them credit everyone were very friendly. And the 3's specialists know their stuff just some need extra training.

Thanks for the pics. I went on Friday and agree a lot of the employees knew less than I did. I wound up jumping into convos to answer a question since the employee didn’t know.

I'm beyond expecting anyone working sales/marketing in the auto industry to have any idea what they are talking about. When I purchased my Sprinter, the head of fleet sales told me it was a half-ton; closer to two tons.

So, when do we see one in the Portland, OR area?

Your fleet guy was probably right. Half ton trucks are referencing their payload capacities (well, used to be capacity. These days, half ton trucks can carry much heavier payloads). An F150 is a half ton truck, for example

Seem like it stay for good but they pull many extra workers from White Plains for at least the weekend.

How the heck can a Tesla showroom employee not know basic details on the model 3.. You only have 3 products to know, not like a Ford dealer that might have 30 or so, and the M3 is the new one. FFS, this is the biggest thing in your company at the moment and you don't know the range, or the options.. And no doubt they still expect to collect their salary. SMH.

I went there about a month ago on a Monday during lunch hour and there were only four people in line before me. I was able to spend a decent amount of time checking out the vehicle.

I went on Presidents Day and I only had to wait for one family ahead of me. You get a decent amount of time inside.
