Tesla Model 3 phone connector cover can't fully close

The cover slides left to open but can't close fully by sliding right. I pushed it pretty hard using my fingers.

Anyone saw the same issue and how to fix it? Thanks!

I experienced this on a coworker's new car. Check the usb cables are tucked in. It's harder to slide close than my car but it will close if you put more force into it.

Thanks for you reply. I already removed the USB cables but it still can't be fully closed...

Put on more force and eventually closed it. I hope I didn't break anything. :-D

Can't remember. I pushed it very hard and was able to fully close it now.
