Tesla Model 3 Tinting Melbourne - Any recommendations?

Does anyone have any recommendations of where to get a Model 3's windows tinted?
What location and product works well?
And did you get the rear window done?

Hi. Can't comment on Melbourne options (I live in Canberra), but I've had my M3 tinted. Only worried about the 4 side windows, as I've bought an interior shade fitting for the roof glass which covers the area over the driver and half way down the rear. When fitted it looks like a normal roof lining and reflects the heat back out (so I'll take it off in Winter).

They will do paint correction, ceramic coating and also body wraps/PPF.....they have the most experience with Tesla's in Melbourne without a doubt...you can get a 10% discount if you're a member of the TOCA (discount equals more than membership so well worth it even just from a financial point of view).

Tesla even send their cars to JJ at Affinesse....total gentleman him and his crew.

When it comes to the Model 3 there are a few ways you can go, the best way is the way Affinesse are doing (one piece and a different material on rooft/rear compared to the side windows)....mine is perfect.

I'm not affiliated with Affineese (or TOCA for that matter apart from being a member) but I do like to recommended small businesses that are doing the "right" thing by their customers and a great job.

I live in Malvern East, not sure if you're around that area but when out of lock down you're weclome to drop past somewhere netrual (like Chadstone Shops or SC in Richmond?) and you can see the work Affineese do (what options I went for and why).

Here's a pic (white interior so tint doesn't look as dark compared to a black interior - it's all street legal though):

I have never posted before but can also +1 for the team at Affinesse. I have had PPF and tinting done with them, worth the drive from Ballarat. Any questions please let me know.

They are also affiliated with the Tesla Owners AUS club which is how I found them, not a paid referral but just like people who are good at their jobs.

I finally found a tint professional who was able to tint my Tesla 3 in Melbourne.

Most tint shops wanted to only tint half of the rear window while others offered to do it in 2 pieces. One that shop was asking ridiculous money to tint rear window as 1 piece.

Tony from Protech Tinting 0414677566 tinted it in one piece and at a very reasonable price. Car looks absolutely amazing.

Real gentleman as well!

Umm, looks great but that doesn’t look legal….I’d be careful as insurances loves to not pay out especially on high value cars….

I’ve just had mine done locally with Peninsula tint in Mornington. Tim was excellent to deal with and is happy to do the rear window also (although I didn’t bother)
He is a fair amount cheaper than most of the others if you want to tint the whole car. I’d show a pic, but it’s a model 3 with tinted windows, you get the drift

Thoroughly impressed with @LuckyFive and his expertise ! Watched the whole process of changing the springs and sway bars. would recommend @LuckyFive for any and all the Tesla needs . Michael you are a great guy !! Thanks for working on my Perf model 3. @UnpluggedP moderate springs and front + rear sway bars installed and what a difference it is.
