I hear what you're saying, but the difference is the VIN as a bunch of numbers is not really relevant - you can get the VIN off any car in any parking lot. Once you tie the VIN to an owner its a different story (theoretically, I'm still not convinced its a huge problem, but I get why people don't share there's). Anyway, he was just trying to provide a service to those who are wondering where their cars are. They can watch this video and find out that their car is sitting in Oakville almost ready for delivery - of course, as he mentions, they probably already know that
