Welp,
Thought I'd post here as another data point for this issue.
Model S has 14K miles, flawless, never repaired or replaced any wheel accessories or tires, etc. I am the only driver; no potholes, bumps, or anything of the sort were hit. I took the car in as the tires were very slowly leaking air, turns out both of the front two 21” Sonic Carbon Twin Turbine rims are cracked in the exact same spot... Escalated with Tesla three times and they told me to F%%% off, zero interest in fixing it, and that it would be $2800 repair because of my own user error! Awesome
Car was out of service for 6 days while they thumbed around with this.
