Tesla Model S 60 Sale Value

Upgrading to a new Tesla and trying to figure out how much I can get for the old one. I am getting a quote from Tesla but also trying to figure out how much I could get if I go private party. Anyone sold anything similar?

He has the parking sensors, so I'd put it in the 30-50k range.


I would expect to see this car on EV-CPO for like 60-65, based on this comp

Meaning PP I think you'd have to be a solid 3-5k under it.

Where do I find the serial? It was delivered at the end of Dec 2013.

Looks like Tesla may be offering 55k. Doesn't leave a lot of room once you factor in the sales tax discount for trade-ins.

If you have the sales tax issue - mind you "United States" doesn't help on this one - then just trade it in.

I've considered a used 60 for the wife. I would be a typical value buyer and I wouldn't give you enough over 55 to make it worth your while - if you are getting another Tesla.

In my state (MO) the sales tax discount doesn't require a trade-in to the seller of the new car specifically. You just have to sell an old car within (I think) 30 days, and fill out the appropriate form at the time.

I just sold a S 60 with 16,000+ miles and fewer options than yours. Basically mine was standard S 60 with a panoramic roof, active air suspension, twin chargers and upgraded to supercharger configuration. I had ordered a new S 90 and not wanting to own two Tesla's, I was aggressive on price and sold it right away for $48,500. Taking that you have significantly more options than I, you can gauge accordingly.
