Looks like your friend posted to hype up your sale.

Nope. Never met Wshowell before. That was his/her honest opinion. You are entitled to yours. Sure, the car doesn't have every single option, but it is well spec'd. And, there are many folks such as myself that would prefer not to have things such as rear seats or tint.

Lets see, No rear seats, twin chargers, tint or paint protection. A pre-sensor 60 with 34K, I don't think it is even worth 50K.

I suppose I can see where someone would think that. Quite the contrary. I'm one of the trolls that's usually telling people how ridiculous their asking prices. Spend some time on Craigslist, Autotrader and Ebay and you'll see that there are many people that truly believe their USED car is worth more than a NEW car. I get it though from a consumer perspective. Every where they go they get "oohs" and "ahhhs" of their cars and therefore start thinking they are worth more than they are because everyone wants one. Who cares if everyone wants one if they don't have the $$$$ to buy one. That's where their pricing analysis is wrong. Prices are set by buyers, not dreamers or even sellers. I have the want and the $$ but I also want a fair price based on all market forces, supply/demand, new/used, new features/old features etc. In my opinion, this is a fair price as determined by my own analysis of everything out there especially CPO pricing. I do find it funny though that you mention what's missing like: rear seats, twin chargers and tint (wouldn't pay much at all for these features for my needs) but obviously other people would. Anyway, I'm expressing my appreciation to someone for setting a realistic stage for when I get to start shopping in earnest for my Model S and NOT hyping his sale. I hope he does sell it and I hope he does get a mini bidding war and then, I hope used prices collapse when the Xs start to be delivered and I can get a great deal from someone that wasn't willing to be reasonable about initially pricing their vehicle.

I had an early 2013 S60 before, that didn't have the sound package or the pano roof that this car has. I'm not related to @pekap at all and I do think that the price is fantastic!

There's a chance though that the valuation might sink further with a glut of newer used Model S when some folks start moving up to the X in the next few months, particularly in the SF Bay Area.
