Saw this when I logged in to my Hotmail today...was tickled
Funny ad! That looks like the Seattle Tesla location on Westlake in front of the glass garage doors. Go figure since it's a Microsoft ad!
Saw it yesterday as well!
Hard to mistake that nosecone and those rims
I wonder if this was officially done with Tesla. Are there trademark considerations? Considering that it mentions batteries.
It's clearly pun-intended. Take the car with the longest range batteries and put MS Surface in front and caption the photo "All Day Battery"
Note however that the advert might only be showing to hotmail users interested in Tesla in the first place and would therefore be attracted to the advert (Yes your browser tracks you...)
Great point - I think my browser is worn out by Tesla
But IE 10 was the first browser to enable 'do not track' by default.
I love this type of advertising. Similar to seeing many priuses in every hollywood movie. Don't mention it, just show it in the background.
On a related note, "Microsoft Corp shares fell more than 11 percent on Friday, their biggest plunge in more than four years, a day after the software company posted dismal quarterly results due to weak demand for its latest Windows system and poor sales of its Surface tablet."
