problem is that comparable sales are making 39k seem pricey

I was talking with the original owner a few weeks ago to purchase, said he sold it for $35,000 now this guy is trying to flip it. Not sure how anyone could register the car in there name and receive the title in 2-3 weeks.

I would generally think not a fraud, I am sure the guy bought the car, did not register it and is trying to skip title it which is illegal.

I am extremely surprised how fast I got my title, it took a little over 2 weeks from handing in the paperwork to receiving my title. I was expecting a long wait due to Covid backlog. Paperwork was done at AAA in San Francisco
