Does anyone have any information about this recall fix on 2021 and 2022 Model S windows? Apparently it's to be an Over-The-Air update, but the local Tesla dealer had no information. Thanks.

For those that don't want to take the time to click on the link I've provided, it states that owner notification will occur around Nov 15th. That may give some indication of the timing for when software might be pushed, although appears they've already implemented fix in production. The document has more detail around how and when Tesla discovered this, their internal testing on the issue, etc. Here's the section of the report that describes the remedy.

Description of Remedy Program : At no cost to the customer, Tesla will deploy an over-the-air (“OTA”) firmware update to affected vehicles that enhances the calibration of the vehicle’s automatic window reversal system behavior to ensure compliance with FMVSS 118, Section 5, in all loading conditions. Tesla does not plan to include a statement in the Part 577 owner notification about pre-notice reimbursement because there are no out of warranty repairs related to this condition.
How Remedy Component Differs from Recalled Component : The remedy OTA firmware update ensures compliance of the vehicle’s automatic window reversal system to FMVSS 118, Section 5, whereas a firmware release without the remedy does not.
Identify How/When Recall Condition was Corrected in Production : Beginning on September 13, 2022, vehicles in production and in predelivery containment received a firmware release that sets power operated window operation to the requirements specified in FMVSS 118, Section 4, rendering Section 5 not applicable.
Recall Schedule :
Description of Recall Schedule : All Tesla stores and service centers will be notified about this recall on or shortly after September 21, 2022. Owner notification letters will be mailed in accordance with 49 C.F.R. § 577.7.
Planned Dealer Notification Date : SEP 21, 2022 - SEP 21, 2022
Planned Owner Notification Date : NOV 15, 2022 - NOV 15, 2022
