Agreed! Why do this? That was rhetorical by the way. This is not what the Model X was designed to do. Nevertheless, I'm pleased you made it back safely.

Kind of a jerky thing to do. Never understood why the macho undercurrent runs through this pastime. Always have felt that trail running or mtn biking takes way more guts.

Software Version8 display - he has the Jewel of UI. Someone must have given him a heads up 2 not let the car update. Even if he beats it to death off-roading I would still take it over a new X w/ V9.

Impressive to see the model x perform in off-road conditions... the last time i did something similar was in an ATV near Denali, Alaska.
