How large in diameter are the magnets, metal plates? As I mentioned I have the 2 magnets and I am hesitant to have my roof have these two metal plates stuck to it, there is no way I would want more stuck to the glass. That is just my opinion though.

Can you post a pic of the magnets?
Not sure velcro would work any different than the magnets? Where would you install it in the MY?Why not Velcro?
There was a suggestion to use magnetic tape - "What about magnetic tape around the frame that clips on to the trim? I was thinking of cutting out the fabric and rethreading a seal on the edges with magnetic tape. Easy to install/remove" If there was a second frame, separate from the sunshade, the new frame could be clipped into place at the edge of the glass using the current clips. This new frame would have velcro attachment points that would match up with velcro grip material on the edge of the sunshade. The benefit would be that it would be easier to remove the sunshade when desired than the current design, leaving the just the new frame in place until the next time you install the sunshade. I saw the photo of the magnets and I assume the metal disks were placed with the magnets but there is currently no photo showing the magnets installed with the sunshade. Not sure velcro would work any different than the magnets? Magnets for the day probably the simplest solution.
That's really perfect! Now start to make them and sell them. lolThought I would share with you my simple solution to reducing the sag in the roof sunshade. I used a scrap piece of wood lying about my garage to fashion a wooden stave 1 x 3/16 x 41 7/8 inchs, which Is then sprung between the two upper side trim pieces It stays in place by its own tension and effectively pins the screen tight to the roof. I have had it in place now for a couple of weeks and it has shown no signs of moving, takes about 30secs to install or remove. Trick is to having it just the right length and having a straight grain piece of wood with no Knots.
