Tesla Model Y in Australia

I see that Shanghai is considering making Model Y LR RWD.

I see this option being introduced into the mix to cover the price point for some countries rebate/incentives thresholds.
It would be nice to see a LR RWD on the model list in Australia.

Still making a big deal of 505km (LR).

Not looking good for the SR is it?

They might get the SR complianced, just in case they decide to sell it later.

Edit: Mostly thinking that because if you take the same 580 -> 505 diff on the LR, and apply it to the SR it's 448 -> 373. Dipping sub 400 is a big psychological barrier to some newcomers to EV land (myself)

Are you comparing the model 3 to the the model Y? Then you should know that the HK MY SR actually has longer range than the M3 SR. It has a larger battery.
