Tesla Motors Paid advertising

Just noticed an ad in last sunday's NYT (OK it takes me a while to read it all), an art and design salon is taking place in NY starting Nov. 13 and running through the 17th. Tesla is listed as a sponsor. This is new for Tesla as far as I know. The ad says the show can be viewed online at artsy.net.

I have not seen any Tesla Print adverisements in the years that I have followed the brand. Always clever product placements or media coverage. When I saw this ad in The Week magazine in a special auto insert "The Future of the Car", I gasped-did Tesla finally decide to advertise in print, then I realized it was another clever product placement. Pretty splashy and interesting they are bring used by another company to spice up an ad!
