Tesla not submitting Austin solar rebate on my behalf

    Other local companies would ensure the installation met the city of Austin's requirements to earn a $2500 rebate on the installation, but Tesla is offloading all of that to me. Has anyone in Austin installed a Tesla system and then got the rebate on their own? I wonder if the reason they are not including the rebate in the process is because the installation is not guaranteed to meet the city's requirements (such as hours of shading per panel).

    Anyone have experience with this?
