I thought they already used NN?
Maybe Tesla was using a NN before but this is apparently a new deep neural net that Tesla has developed just for rain sensing. It is the new "Deep Rain" NN that Elon mentioned last month: Tesla announces new 'Deep Rain' neural net for its automatic wipers - Electrek
Seems like it's completely reworked then! Great news. HW2 / 2.5 too?
I recall now: They clearly had NN. Karpathy on the AI said they "shipped it" a year ago:
Although I tend to agree with you regarding the availability of the feature complete FSD what would be interesting is what new beta release FSD features will be available to early adopters by 12/31/19?Hopefully we will see this by the end of the month. That leaves December for the feature complete FSD software that has been suggested, but I think highly unlikely.
.
Elon never said feature complete FSD would be available to all owners this year.
Fairly sure it will continue to say that next year.Well but the website does say that though. It specifically says the features are coming later this year.
Fairly sure it will continue to say that next year.
Three...How does the car "see" the raindrops? Is there a camera that looks at the windshield?
