In case of a dead 12V battery, the frunk can be manually opened by pulling a wire underneath to jump or swap out the battery. Can it still be manually opened after the electric frunk installation?

yes, the two red cables near the fog lights still allow the hood to unlatch. I had mobile service come out a couple weeks ago to replace my 12V.

My tech still covered it under warranty even though it was obvious I had an aftermarket accessory tapped to the battery.
