Tesla Offer frunk has been working perfect till today. When I click the open frunk it just makes a latching noise and won’t release, also the emergency release won’t work either although it worked when testing it. Don’t want to take to dealer, recommendations on getting frunk open.

Maybe apply some light pressure down on the frunk while trying to open?

That didn’t work, it’s as if the release mechanism isn’t connected. Just locked down.

I had this issue after a car wash in very cold temps. After a night in the garage it was fine. I did apply a little silicone lube to the weather seal to prevent this in the future. Don't think the power frunk was the issue, basically got froze shut.

It’s 60 here so not frozen, I did wash my car today, but doubt that had anything to do with it.

Try applying slight upward pressure just when you hear the release sound? Sounds like maybe something wasn't tightened enough and has come loose? When you tried the emergency release, was there any tension when you pulled the chord?

If nothing else works, you could always put the car on jack stands and take off the front plastic skid plate. You may be able to gain access to the latch from below.
